Our Origin Story
Ryan, Michael, and Calvin came together for the first time at the MR340 in 25’ having never raced together. Finishing in 58h 14min we instantly knew that we wanted to spend more time racing together, and that we spent enough time out of the boat to easily go Sub 50 next year. We teamed up a month later for the Race for the Rivers, and Won our category with the third best time overall. We’re setting our sights high this year to compete in (and win) as many of the Midwest Paddle Racing events early in the year, and hopefully finish on the podium in mens tandem in the MR340. Along the way we plan to fundraise for NAMI Missouri (National Alliance on Mental Illness).

Ryan is an Adventurer at heart, whether is Hiking, Biking, Ice Climbing, or racing the local KC Mission 5K on a stand up paddleboard, Ryan has done it all. Ryan is a Tradesman.
Michael is a Recovering Ultra-Cyclist and new to Paddling as of 24’, He spends his time training on the Meramec, and MO River. Michael works in IT.

Calvin is our rock and Safety and Support Chief, his quick problem solving, and ability to improvise has saved the day multiple times. Calvin is a professional Butcher.
